The Friends of Whitworth House is a registered charity,
formed to provide support for vulnerable, homeless young women in Cambridge.
Whitworth House was officially opened in May 1998 and currently accommodates up to thirteen residents, age 16 - 25 years of age, under the management of Orwell Housing Association. Staff sleep on the premises and work to create a family environment for the residents, enabling them to undertake training/qualifications and to find employment, to enable them to live independent lives
